Hydraulic crane OMTL-70-01 ZET The main feature of this crane is its Z-shaped pattern of folding into transport position that gives the possibility to get a number of advantages as compared to cranes with longitudinal folding pattern of folding:
- Optimum weight distribution of the truck;
- the engine compartment of the trucks MAZ and KamAZ is accessible for carrying out repair works;
- the best visibility has been achieved due to location of the crane in transport position behind the cab, but not above it.
- There is no need also in the front post, where the crane with longitudinal pattern of folding is put.
- Truck stability and driving qualities of the truck are higher as the centre of gravity of the crane is located lower than that of the crane with longitudinal pattern of folding.
The crane is mounted behind the driver’s cab or on the rear part of the cargo bed of automobiles URAL, KamAZ, MAZ, KrAZ and used as a part of special-purpose vehicles (metal scrap carrier, MPR (loading-unloading mechanism of “multilift” type) with proper working parts.
